Located just east of Toronto in Whitby, Ontario, Trafalgar Castle School was founded in 1874 and is one of the oldest girls’ schools in Canada. Trafalgar Castle provides a rich learning environment for academic and personal growth of young women. With a current enrolment of 200 day and boarding students from Grades 5 to 12, our community offers a vibrant and diverse atmosphere.

Currently, Trafalgar Castle is seeking experienced part-time Nurse to join our professional staff for the 2011-2012 academic year. The successful candidate will work as part of the Residence and School Life teams within our school setting and will possess the following credentials and experience:

• Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in assessing patients to determine appropriate care
• Skilled in health teaching, health promotion and education  
• Ability to coordinate care of students within the health centre and proven ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team within the local community
• administration of immunizations

Background and experience in mental health and social work an asset.

Residency at the school is a requirement.
