A Day in the Life of a Day Girl

Lauren – Grade 5

7 a.m. – Morning choir practice. Time to be tuneful!

8 a.m. – This morning I’m writing a fairy tale.

9:50 a.m. – Morning recess and snack, can’t wait to see what delicious homemade treat is waiting for us in the dining hall.

10:10 a.m. – It’s time for French class. “Allons-y” everyone!

11:20 a.m. – I love sitting with my friends at lunch. And sometimes we get together after lunch with our Big Sisters to play a game.

12 noon – Every day our Recess Friends are around to help organize games. It’s so much fun having the older girls to play with. When I’m in Grade 8, I’m going to be a Recess Friend, too!

12:15 p.m. – Today, we’re working on our Lego robots.

1:30 p.m. – Fourth period – A lesson on mapping skills in Geography. I might get lost!

3 p.m. – Off to Tutorial. It’s a good time to see my math teacher to ask a few questions.

3:30 p.m. – Snack in the dining hall then it’s off to play rehearsal. I’m helping to build the set!

5 p.m. – Heading home for the day!
