Unique Opportunities for Day Students
Spend a Term in Boarding
In addition to our regular Day Program, students have the unique opportunity to spend a term in Boarding. Whether it’s to build their confidence for first-year post-secondary, grow new friendships with students from around the world, or simply shorten their morning commute during the winter months, our Short Term Boarding program for Day Students provides a world of benefits
Extended Day Program
Trafalgar Castle School also offers an Extended Day Program that provides Day Students with additional structure and support to establish and maintain healthy routines during the week. Extended Day students can access the Boarding Lounge to socialize or relax before dinner, which is provided by the school, then head to a supervised study hall before pick-up at 8 p.m.

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens during the interview?
The interview is an opportunity for us to get to know you and your family. It is also a chance for you to ask questions about Trafalgar Castle School and to share your reasons for wanting to join our community of students. A member of our Admissions Team will contact you to schedule a time for your interview. There is no need to prepare for the interview or to bring anything with you.
Is there a written assessment? Should I study for it?
Following your interview you will be asked to complete an assessment of math, reading, and writing that is leveled to your current grade. You are not required to study for the assessment. Its role is to help us better understand your learning.
I receive accommodations at school for learning difficulties. Can I use my accomodations during the admissions assessment?
Absolutely! Trafalgar Castle School works openly and actively with families to ensure that learning needs are addressed, whether the need is for additional support or for enrichment. Sharing information about individual learning needs during the admissions process helps us make the process a positive and supportive experience for you and your family. It is recommended that your individual Education Plan or psychoeducational assessment (where available) be shared at the time of application.
When will I know if I am accepted to Trafalgar Castle School?
Trafalgar Castle School has a rolling admissions process. Once the interview has been completed and all required documentation received, the application is referred to the Admissions Committee for review. Typically you will be informed of the Committee’s decision within two weeks of the application being referred to the Committee.
I received an Offer Letter from Trafalgar Castle School. What happens now?
Families are asked to return the signed Offer Letter along with a one-time acceptance fee and a deposit as a prepayment toward the tuition fee.
