BOARDING FEATURES

“I’m getting ready to go to university and boarding has taught me how to be more responsible and manage my time. It taught me how to live on my own while still having people around that I can rely on.”

Second-to-None Facilities

From bright and spacious boarding rooms, a sun-lit dining hall that serves up nutritious and balanced meals and a cozy Lounge area, to tennis courts, a swimming pool, two fitness centres and more, Trafalgar provides more than just the comforts of home.

Dining

Trafalgar Castle School provides three delicious, nutritious and balanced meals per day for our Boarding Students. Chef Pira’s menus offer a variety of meal options that cater to different dietary preferences and requirements, including vegan, vegetarian,  and Halal options. Traditional meals that represent various cultures in Boarding are also offered at special times throughout the school year.

Supervised Study Hall

On weeknights between 6:30 and 8 p.m., boarding students who require additional help with their school subjects can be paired with a Senior Boarding Student to obtain assistance and gain an advantage in their studies.

Weekends, Breaks and Excursions

As weekends are a time for our students to relax and spend time with friends, Trafalgar Castle School provides a variety of organized activities at the Castle, including yoga, swimming, hiking, cooking classes and friendly boarding competitions.

But our Boarding Students venture outside of the Castle too. We organize several long weekend excursions to exciting attractions like hockey games, Niagara Falls, Quebec City, Ottawa and more!

Every winter, Trafalgar Castle School also partners with the Snowhawks Ski School to offer our Boarding Students the opportunity to experience Canadian winter at its best and learn to ski!

Boarding Buddy Program

In our Boarder Buddy program, Boarding Students are paired with Day Students, enabling friendships to blossom. Boarding Students may spend a weekend off campus in their Boarder Buddy’s home, experiencing authentic family life in Canada.
