The March Break is a time to relax and unwind for most, but for some Trafalgar Castle students it’s an opportunity to travel and embark on new adventures!
A group of students from Trafalgar Castle School departed for Costa Rica on March 5. While there, they will embark in various activities including community engagement initiatives, white water rafting, hiking treks such as La Fortuna and Monteverde, and visiting San Jose.
Grade 10 student Aarya will also travel out of country visiting Ranchi, Delhi and Bombay. Aarya has been invited to participate in the Dasra Adolescent Collaborative which will see her engage in an immersive visit to non-government organizations that specialize in empowering girls. Â
Meanwhile in Mexico City, Grade 11 student Sarina will continue to develop her abilities as a competitive rower as completes altitude training with junior athletes from a rowing club in Mexico.
We can’t wait to hear all about these students’ experiences when they return!
