The Trafalgar Castle Rowing Team attended the WOSSA (Doug and Sam Wells) Regatta in London on May 26. The team has been on the water preparing for the Regatta with help from Miss Bushell, mathematics teacher at the School.
Teams were entered in the Women’s Doubles, Junior Women’s Quad and the Junior Women’s Single event.
Sarina and Bella placed third in their heat in the Junior Women’s Doubles. This qualified them for the finals, but unfortunately they were unable to compete due to an injury. The school’s Junior Women’s Quad had a successful row – for two of the four girls it was their first race.
A special congratulations to Sarina who achieved a bronze medal in the Junior Women’s Single event. Amazing job rowers!
